REMEMBER THE WOMAN who’s making 300 sandwiches for her boyfriend in exchange for an engagement ring?

Well she’s less than 100 sandwiches away from achieving her goal, and her boyfriend is starting to realise the enormity of the situation.

He’s not scared to propose, oh no – but he is concerned that his proposal will never match up to the effort she put in to get it.

He told the New York Post:

Now, a year and a half in, and with less than 100 sandwiches to go, not a day passes without yet another fresh reminder from friends, family…that we creep closer to the finish line…and that now there’s a crowd watching.And after 300 tasty, lovingly made and beautifully documented sandwiches — a herculean yet unnecessary gesture — how could I possibly measure up?

Good question. But instead of thinking it out himself – all his ideas were stolen by Kanye West, apparently – he’s asking Twitter to help him.

So after getting sandwiches made for him by his girlfriend every day for the past year and a half, he wants us to send him ideas for the proposal.
